I've been thinking about getting a Flip Video camcorder for a while now, pretty much ever since I started uploading videos to YouTube. It seems to be the perfect mobile pocket recorder, a device I could take with me anywhere to record a quick little something. When their Mino version came out the purchase became

Great video! Wondering what your longer term opinion of this product has been? if you were in the market now would you still buy this one?

I still like the Mino HD but if I was buying today I’d probably opt for the Ultra HD. It’s a little bulkier but has twice the capacity and a larger display. Also the Kodak Zi6 is nice because it uses SD cards instead of on-board storage, so that’s always on option.
